PHASE I GROUNDBREAKING AT OUR LADY OF GRACE, MARICOPA

Phase I groundbreaking, Our Lady of Grace, Maricopa. With Peter Vesecky, Casey Pennington, Mitch Lorenz, Steven Schloeder, Fr. Marcos Velasquez, Tom Chermack and Wayne Santi. The Phase I groundbreaking ceremony at Our Lady of Grace in Maricopa AZ occurred on Wednesday, 1 May 2013, at 2 pm on the new church property — the SW corner of Gunsmoke and Cow Path in Maricopa. The roads and civil infrastructure will be first installed to prepare the whole 35 acre site for the new church, along with future plans for single and multifamily housing, commercial retail and office, and other community amenities.

DEDICATION OF ST. CLARE OF ASSISI IN SURPRISE

Liturgical Environs PC is pleased to announce the recent dedication of the new parish church of St. Clare of Assisi in Surprise Arizona, which was dedicated on 11 April 2010 by The Most Reverend Thomas J. Olmstead, Bishop of Phoenix. Steven Schloeder was the liturgical design architect, working in close association with CCBG Architects in Phoenix Arizona.  Liturgical Environs PC was responsible for the transformation of the existing conceptual floor plan, which was a “theater in the round” model with the altar in the center, into a directional wide nave with the altar and sanctuary properly at the east side..

DEDICATION OF STS. ANNE AND JOACHIM CHURCH IN FARGO

Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church in Fargo, North Dakota was dedicated on 11 February 2010 by The Most Reverend Samuel Aquila, Bishop of Fargo. This project, designed by Steven Schloeder and implemented with Zerr Berg Architects as Architect of Record, is intended to create a sign and symbol for the parish and diocese in Fargo through alluding to the northern European Gothic heritage and cultural memory of the community. Liturgical Environs PC was responsible for the schematic design of the building as well as the design of the various liturgical furnishings, and assisted in the coordination of the robust.

DEDICATION OF ST PAUL CHURCH IN PENSACOLA

The church of St Paul in Pensacola was dedicated on 24 August 2008 by The Most Reverend John H. Ricard SSJ. Over 1400 parishioners were in attendance for the Rite of Dedication. The new church features both reclaimed sacred art — stained glass windows from the Archiodiocese of Philadelphia and the Diocese of Oakland — as well as newly commissioned works by Wastweet Studios in Seattle WA, Mosaica in New York, Keith Johnson and Images of the Cross in Augusta GA, Vonn Hartung in Puerto Rico, Donohue Fine Arts in Sierra Vista AZ, DiStefano Ruiz Studio in Oakland CA, and.

LITURGICAL ENVIRONS SELECTED FOR PROJECT IN MARICOPA, ARIZONA

Liturgical Environs PC has been selected as the Architect for the new parish church of Our Lady of Grace in Maricopa, AZ. Initial conceptual designs for the first phase of 500 seats and the parish administration center have been approved in a “desert Gothic” style. Later phases will enlarge the church to 1500 seats, add a social hall, and eventually a grade school on a 20 acre site. Images of the initial concept studies can be seen on the Project page.

LITURGICAL ENVIRONS SELECTED FOR PROJECT AT UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Our Savior Catholic Center, the parish church at the University of Southern California, has asked Liturgical Environs PC to assist the design architect Elkus Manfredi of Boston MA with the new 400 seat student chapel. The new church will respect the existing Italianate Romanesque style that defines the USC campus. UPDATE: The project is now in the Design Development phase, working with the local firm Studio One-Eleven as the Architect of Record.

The Parish of St. Clare of Assisi in Surprise Arizona (Diocese of Phoenix) has selected Liturgical Environs to be the liturgical design architect for their new 1600 seat church project. Liturgical Environs will be working closely with the local Phoenix based firm of CCBG Architects who are serving as the primary design architects and as Architect of Record.

LITURGICAL ENVIRONS SELECTED FOR PROJECT IN TONOPAH, ARIZONA

Liturgical Environs has teamed up with Scottsdale-based SSPW Architects to design the new monastery for the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration in Tonopah, Arizona. The monastery is a daughter house of the order founded by Mother Angelica of EWTN, and was invited to be established in Arizona by Bishop Thomas J Olmstead to serve the Church through the apostolic vocation of praying before the Blessed Sacrament.

The Parish of Sts. Anne and Joachim in Fargo, North Dakota (Diocese of Fargo) has selected Liturgical Environs to be the designer and liturgical consultant for their new 1200 seat, $8.5 million church project. Liturgical Environs will be working closely with the local Fargo firm of Zerr-Berg Architects who will serve as Architect of Record.
